Responsibilities and Duties:
- Install, troubleshoot and repair for Access Control, IP/Analog Video, Security and Electrified Door Hardware systems
- Familiar with relay logic concepts
- IT networking – Strong understanding of networking systems
- Ability to terminate and test – Access Control, IP/Analog Video, Security and Electrified Door Hardware systems
- Utilize analytical tools (multi-meters, software diagnostics, Cable Testers, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings
- Must be able to demonstrate basic programming ability for Access Control, IP/Analog Video, Security and Electrified Door Hardware systems
- Install and troubleshoot electrified door hardware
- Work with EMT conduit and all connectors and fasteners
- Work closely with general contractors to ensure customer satisfaction and problem resolution; attend project meetings when necessary
- Provide customer training on installed systems.
- Must be on call 24×7 per on call rotating schedule established by manager
- Must be ready to mobilize directly to jobsites with all materials necessary for specified projects
- Responsible for replenishing all materials necessary for the following weeks’ projects
- Being neat and organized will help maintain accuracy and quality.
- Check E-Mail habitually.
- Follow through with commitments.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Experience Installing Access Control, Electrified Door Hardware, IP Video (analog and IP based) devices and associated cabling
- Understanding of relay logic concepts:
- Understanding of IT networking
- IT Certifications are a plus
- Able to work independently as well as part of a team
- Able to be productive and work effectively under pressure
- Must be responsible, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and well-organized
- Superior customer service skills to deal with both internal and external customers
